Rihanna Song Leaks!

Rihanna, lately I've been seeing her and her songs popping up all over Youtube, and I thought, it'd be cool to have a post with all her song leaks from possibly her new album, or maybe songs that didn't make it to the other albums. Anyways, here they are: (there are alot)

I'M BACK:

This one is supposedly a new one. Uhh... I really like it?

SEXUALITY:

Sexuality, a cover of Prince's 1981 song, Sexuality, from his album Controversy. WOAH! I just realized how short it was. Hmm.

B*TCH, I'M SPECIAL:

Uhm, this song, it doesn't really have that appeal, but I think...it may...be growing...on...me. OH GOSH NO, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY MUSIC TASTE! I mean, it sounds really raw, which I think is what I like about it, but at the same time, it sounds really messy and unfinished. Whatever.

HOW I LIKE IT:
this one, only is a link, because I couldn't embed it on here, and the other videos are all muted by Youtube, which I MUST say is, extremmeelly annoying. This song is a little disappointing, but it is also a grower...

EMERGENCY ROOM:

This one, is my favourite out of all these leaked songs. Probably cuz I just found it yesterday? Hah. That's it. Uhh, alsoitfeaturesAkon. Hehe. See how I sneaked that in? I'M STEALTHY. Gosh, I hope this makes it onto the album. PLEASE CHOOSE THIS ONE, RIRI!!

SINGLE:

I also found this one yestersay, and it's also pretty amazing. :)

BAD GIRL:

Dannggg. This one was really hard to find in full version on Youtube. It's not very impressive, but at least it's better than "How I Like It"! So maybe there still is hope for the album, yet!

CHRIS BROWN - PICTURE PERFECT:

Hah! This actually doesn't have Rihanna in it, but it seems the song could be about her. So, I just threw it in this heap for fun.

Anyway, there are a whole bunch of others, but they are not sung by her. They're just dems, that are waiting to be sung by her. Poor songs. PRobably crying, "Rihanna, sing me first! Record me first!" -"NO! ME!" I think her album will be released in mid March, and I'm pretty excited, like this is me: BUYING IT! Gosh, this woman needs to take a break.

P.S. If youre wondering about one of the demos, here's one (it's called The Fire):

Happy? Yeah, I told you there were alot.

Not sure what to expect on this new album, but it would suck if it didn't reach the same level of success as Good Girl Gone Bad did.

[Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You]

REPOST FFROM: PRETTYMUCHAMAZING

When I first heard Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You,” I wasn’t really feeling it. Embarrassingly, that has changed — like complete 180, people. And I blame Dr. Luke! That guy has a knack of writting THE MOST infectuous pop tunes (Kelly’s “Since U Been Gone,” Britney’s “Circus,” and Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl”). I guess, more than anything, I was upset with the musical direction Kelly was begining to take… I sort of expected a Pink-ish return (a la “Sober” or “Who Knew”). But why should I have expected a Pink copycat? [A Nickelback copycat] Something semi-original works fine.
Maybe it works more than fine, because “My Life” has done something a pop-juggernaut like “Since U Been Gone” has never been able to do: go No. 1. Not only that, but skyrocketing to No. 1 in style! According to Billboard, Kelly Clarkson jumps 96 spots to the penthouse (97-1), beating out Britney Spears’ old-record breaking 96-1 jump. This is the 21323rd time this record has been broken in the last 6 months. Someone needs to jump 100-1 already so there cant be anymore “Record Breaking Jump!!!”-stories. But good going Kelly. Welcome back (or welcome back to Top 5 single land — yeah, My December never did that — HA!). This single alone guarantees Kelly’s new LP, All I Ever Wanted a number one spot! That and also the fact that her only competition the week of March [17th is Lionel Richie] 10th is Chris Cornell and fellow Idol winner Taylor Hicks (who along with Rubin Studdard, shame the American Idol title). So congrats in advance, Kelly!

(haha! i got it embed!)

[Lykke Li - Tonight]

REPOST FROM: PRETTYMUCHAMAZING

Not sure if I’ll ever get enough of Lykke Li. I don’t post music videos here often, but I think I’m going to start to. “Tonight,” which appears on the US release of Lykke Li’s debut Youth Novels, has one of the most budgeted music videos of the year, seriously.

But what I would have never guessed is how artistic a “one shot/static background” (as Stereogum puts it) music video could be. Lykke Li’s facial expressions and bearly-there fidgeting brings in all of the raw emotion that a video with a $10,000 or $50,000 price tag offers.

-------------------------------------------

I posted the video for Lykke Li’s “Tonight” a few days ago and noticed that the version on the video was different than the version on the album. She seems to be singing the song live just for the video (which is really cool, by the way).

[Kanye West - Heartless]

Okay, so I know this isn't that new, but whatever. I love Kanye West, and I've been meaning to blog about this song for a while now, and now that The Zoot is in like, music mode - why not talk about it now? the song is once, again in that techno voice (which isn't a bad thing, it's just...you know), and the video's meh. Regardless of what I say, go Kanye! :)

(sorry, the official video is disabled for embedding on here, but here's anyway:)

[Britney Spears - If You Seek Amy]

So, Britney Spears newest released single, "If You Seek Amy" has been rolling up some controversy, with the song's title spelling out F.*.*.K. Me :
Radio stations are breaking some kind of law or whatever if they play this song between 6 AM to 10 PM. So they're playing cleaner version of it saying, 'if you see amy." I think whatever, kids, if they hear the song, they'll probably think it's about a girl named Amy. Actually, to be honest I thought it was about a girl named Amy, and my sister was like, "WTF?! I don't get this song." And I just shrugged, cuz I didn't really care. It's a great song, and whatever and that's all that really matters to me. Well, now that I think about it, I do care what the meaning of a song is...
Whatever here's the song for youu's (that was bad english/grammar)

Hey, if you're wondering where to find more controversy info on this song, click HERE!

[Jahfus feat. Ray-J - Shut It all Down]

Ahhaha, I don't really know what to say about this song...
Jahfus, a new artist (I think) who is Jamaican, but proudly CANADIAN!! is I think an new artist to watch. I hope to see some radio, or TV airplay from him, because I haven't and Ray-J (singer Brandy's brother) is just amzing, I 've been seeing him around a few songs lately. I think he'll become a new featured artist. You know, those artists like Akon, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, those people who are frequently featured on songs. Nonethelss, great song!

P.S. This video is FAN MADE!!

Give Me 'Em Bright Lights!

New Pussycat Dolls song. It was okay at first to me, but it has now grown on me. Yeah. Definitely. But this isn't really a new single (or atleast I don't know for sure) for the dolls. It's actually the theme song of MTV's hit new show: The City. I'm sure you've heard of it. It's sort of a spin off of The Hills? Surely, you must know The Hills. The show really isn't that bad, I actually like it...

[Fall Out Boy - America's Sweethearts]

A nice, head-bobbing song. Good sing along. Catchy tune. Basically all you can ask for in a rock song, no? See for yourselfff...

(sorry the official video was unable to be embed)

[The Bird And The Bee - Love Letter To Japan]

This song, AND video is superbb. Like it's a fantastical song alone, but, but with the asianess of the video added to it, it's like BOOOMMMM!!! Huh. I see a hurricane taking the world by storm coming right about by the time you press PLAY. I'm simply loving the soft sound of the song. I thnk other, than the hurricane, it's like...the comeback of Alternative Rock. I mean, where'd it go? All I'd been hearing was like, pop songs, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, JoBros, - you get the idea. So... go The Bird And The Bee! Hopefully, we'll be seeing them more in the future, with a few albums currently under their name. They are definitely a band to watch. WOOT WOOT!

[Coldplay - Life In Technicolor]

Yummy new single from Coldplay! Well, actually, it'a ALRIGHTT, an easy listening song all around. The video is especially tingly. I loved it. Especially all the little things, like the puppet pulling up the curtains -LOVE IT! All the way to the amplifiers being put up to the stage guys, and the helicopters at the end, bwahahaha. Anyway, if you're curious enough, or if you just love Coldplay, here's the video for your enjoyment! :) I just realized I said 'love it' twice.

[Mainstream Makers.]

Alright, the Zoot is now coming into a surge of brand new, and not so brand new music videos! Yay! Oh, and sorry for this shiatt post :S

I just went against the grain.

I’m at school right now. Durrrrr…. What a bore, huh? Well, I must get back to work NOWWW because “I got a bunch of homework. ‘And I need to catch up on some (?)’” That’s from the movie, Elf, by the way. AHAHAHA, so FUNNY!!! Alright, I’ll see ya J

Can You Hear My Heart Beating Like A Hammerrr?

Duhhhh.
So I finished Twilight yesters, which means that I finished it in LESS THAN ONE WEEK! Kabaam! An no, it's not like that is the quickest time I have ever read a book, no. Absolutely not. Buttt, it is a pretty thick book, and being that I finshed it less than a week, to me, it's like: WOW.

I was sitting on the kitchen table floor, eyeing a used-to-be fluffy green pillow, thinking about a post alot like this one. Oh my gosh, I swear, it was definitely eyeing me back. And imitating my face. Like I was using my tongue to feel the outer side of my teeth (it's a habit), and the pillow -since it has swirlies on it, it somehow formed a face- was looking at me with it's mirage-ish eyes, and mouth and mimicking the same movements. I stopped. It stopped. I picked at something. It did the same. I did the tongue thing again. It did it again. So then I got up, peeled a clementine, and left.

Sorry, about my deadly transitions. Like I'm not even making the effort to slip into each different subject, I wanna talk about. I just like, double enter then completely talk bout something else. Oh. Here we go again...

I got my Highschool Application forms like a while ago, and now they're finally filled in. Yay!!! But then I realized I had to write a few reflection-type essays, explaining why i want to be in whatever class. Noooooo!!!!! And I have such busy weeks to come, like it's not even fairr. Ahh, I shouldn't worry, after all, they are just 250 words minimum, sooo..

I haven't incorporated any music in The Zoot in quite a while, so here you go:
MP3: Help, I'm Alive - Metric http://www.mediafire.com/?tfrcnymfynn
I know it has been out since the summer, but it's been stuck in my head all day, and what better way to ring in the new president but with Metric? haha, man I love Metric so much. Please don't break up, if that ever happens.

Also, I think I will skip on the whole 'what I got for Christmas' post, but I think I see a new layout coming soon, which shall be good. Andddd, a couple of book & CD reviews, and best songs (or w/e) of 2008? We'll see, we'll see.

A few days bak, I found out I've been saying 'piss you' basically, all along. It's actually spelt:
PIISU!
haha, would it hurt if I said i was human. Oh gosh, no. Not a Twilight quote.

I need a title.

Today, i'm feeling antsy.
And I don't have the slightest clue 'antsy' means.
Or 'incredulous'. Will I have to now go look them up?
Most definetely.
Also, my FB photo is irritating most likely, everyone.
I apologize for my great laziness factor on The Zoot (if you haven't noticed, that's what I'm calling my blog from now on.)
Also, my layout is a bore, and winter sucks.
So much for my New Year's Resolutions. Huhhhh...
I hate myself for being a Twilighter. Dang it!
And what else? I must now call my friend, or else i will be isolated this whole weekend, yes?
Yes, I think that is absolutely CORRECT.
Pissu! :)
The phone just rang.
